The predominant theme of the place is blue and brown. In the main room the walls are a pale blue-grey which coordinates well with the deep navy carpet, and also the navy drapes, although those are usually pushed to the side to let the sun shine in the broad windows.
The two couches are both soft brown leather, the longer of the two being just long enough for someone to comfortably take a nap on. The coffee table matches the television cabinet matches the desk - all a deep-coloured maple, designed for use more than attractiveness. Underneath the television in the cabinet there is space for the DVD player and movies (and also booze if Veronica is so inclined). The television itself is raised fairly high by the cabinet, and is bracketed by two dencently-sized speakers. On the wall nearby are a couple of posters, one of which is a print of Hokusai's Great Wave and the other of which is a movie poster for The Big Lebowski.
The desk is set up facing toward the windows so that Veronica can look out over the lake if she likes. In addition there are shelves up above it which provide space for books, and drawers underneath in which Veronica typically stashes her taser and camera equipment when they're not in use. On a usual day, the desk will have a notebook or two open on it, along with Veronica's PowerBook. A small white light on the front of the computer pulses softly when it's in sleep mode.
Between the 'living room' and 'bedroom' parts of the main room a Japanese-style screen separates the areas for privacy. Behind it a wardrobe holds a couple different outfits, and includes a set of drawers for socks and other non-hangable items. The simple bedside table has a reading lamp on it and a small drawer underneath, in which V can stash a book or two. The bed itself is a double with an assortment of pillows and a navy-coloured duvet.
The bathroom is quite typical; the walls are a pale sandy brown colour, the floor tiles a pattern in white and dark blue. Against what V would strictly be happy with, the shower curtain is white with a cheerful pattern of fish on it.
I'll elaborate on this when I have more time.
